Awake to the sound of impulse.
Her thoughts erratic.
Today a choice is to be made.
Life or luxury.
Cold sweat emissions.
A repeated scream, a nine month mistake.
Brought her before strangers in white.
Intent to salvage a stunted potential.
Despite the decadence of fear.
Inescapable and relentless, its ploy.
Leave him.
A boy worthless, alone.
Light faded before its time.
Eyes held shut.
Breathe in him a moment longer.
Exhale an ending to vicarious existence.
Life and death in unison, I inhale.
Sin blankets his skin upon leaving the womb.
The whore buried him before the birth.
Outlined now, incandescent shame.
Never to escape what was made.
Abrasions litter a young frail body.
Self discovery jots its signature across face and knees.
Breaking locks in search of keys.
Judgement stood the door at every late hour arrival.
Hate became all he could do to salvage a smile.
The hairs upon his head reflect the memories within.
Outnumbered are the warm and bright.
A heavy heart holds no right.
His emotions are prone to preconceived notions of a better life.
Thoughts of the beginning only begin another violent end.
Rambling on in what-ifs and whys.
Unbearable injustice.
A walking plague.
Deafening accusation spews.
Threats like a noose to the throat.
Sharp edged words bled the soul.
As a diamond marks its twin, a heart cuts another.
There is no return.
Hatred and heresy left her at the stake.
Home turns to ash.
A mindless mistake.
Can a man dig a grave so deep
as to come out the other side?
An escape.
A thought to reconcile, to stay.
Gazing the vast night dome over the earth.
Dark skies breed dots of distant fire.
Face in reflection over raging water.
Bones broken carried in the wind.
I wanna burn brighter, yet I have no flame.
Pry with might the heart's gate.
Open wide the arsenal.
Give way to change.
Down comes the walls.
Life gave her.
Life gave a child.
A mess of misunderstandings and miracles.
Two became a flesh now separate.
How could I come from such disaster?
Logic relishes in ratios and possibilities.
Sight knows only itself.
Faith fought the shadows.
Hope remained inconsistently consistent.
A concept with a glimpse of conviction.
Truth buried in denial.
Veil worn in rejection.
A conscience ushers a patient proposal.
I can't relinquish my hate. This truth is deceiving. Give me more then what I can see.
If worth the pain, worth the life.
If worth the grave, then worth the love.
Given unaware of reason.
Proof is in the breath.
Every waking day is evidence of purpose.
Regardless of its cause.
An Author still writes though He knows the ending.
Giving each character its necessity of progression.
I'll take the time if you can wait for me.
