A passive glance to no end.

A hill so small to conquer.
Though it's slopes so steep to climb.

Lying a way out of every ditch that was ever dug.
Belly up and lungs collapsing.
Only quickening the grave.
Losing sight to the shadows.
A past so present in pain.

She waits.
At the end of every cautious corner.
Figure disguised in pouring rain and rituals.
Laments fall from facetious eyes.
A blind boy fails.

A kiss welcomes an end.
Atriums fill with perpetual ambiance.
Harkening seduction.
Remedy shed over woven thread.
Vice and victim sever reason from reality.

Harsh descent of splinters.
Beseeched by need for shelter.
Forth to the darkest angles of obstruction.
Guilt gestures to crooked frames.
Fault forms a nauseous noose.

Never again.
Declared penance persuades atonement.
Damned be his deliberate reclusion.
As a river buried beneath abated bridges.
A blind boy grieves.

Sown seeds flourish as a fool gawks.
A break in the bone proves its lesson.
Vines of malice secure a stone.
Blood for blood and home for home.
Isolate a heart enraged and grown.

Hate beckons a brother.
Together well breed a war.
A desolate mind becomes the sum.
Ashes run with color.
Love never backed down.

Surrendered sides and severed ties.
A bittersweet stained smile.
Restless conclusions tangled within golden fields and blue skies.
Torches speak of hope amid the smoke.
A blind boy believes.

Absent sight reciprocates with taunt.
Desire to scorch the veil.
False blame invites a light inside.
Cleansing tide upon eternal slate.
Depth knows not the start or end.

Consciousness conforms to idle sleep.
A wave convulsed in tidal wishing.
Songs rise above outstretched claws.
Brave and fading is a lost fear.
